These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Clairoz. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptable Use

You may use Clairoz to:

• Generate roadmaps, mind maps, and study materials for lawful personal, educational, or commercial projects.
• Store and edit content you create or have rights to use.
• Interact with the AI assistant in good faith for productive purposes.

2. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the service to produce content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or that promotes violence.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the service, its APIs, or the underlying AI providers.
• Use the service to generate disinformation, malware, or to circumvent security or rate limits.
• Resell or sublicense the service without our written permission.
• Submit personal data of others without a lawful basis.

3. Your Account

• You are responsible for safeguarding your sign-in credentials and for all activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the service.
• You are responsible for the content you submit, including AI prompts and uploaded files.

4. AI-Generated Content

AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Review and verify AI-generated content before relying on it for important decisions. You are responsible for how you use that output.

5. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the content you submit. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display that content solely to operate the service. The Clairoz name, logo, and software are our property.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clairoz is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 50.

7. Termination

• You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.
• We may suspend or terminate your access immediately, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the service and its users.
• On termination, your access ends and we may delete your content after a reasonable retention period.

8. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time. We may update these Terms; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Clairoz is operated, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
